- How much firewood is in 1 tonne? We weigh our wood, it isn't volume based. Different moisture content and different density of the wood (trunk vs branch) does mean 1m3 of wood weighs different. It's also dependent on how it's stacked. Generally speaking, 1 Tonne of redgum firwewood is roughly the equivelant of 2 cubic meters.
- When is the best time to buy firewood? Earlier in the season is best. Wood supply is most plentiful, and the quality of wood is at its driest.
- What size truck do you deliver in? We have three different trucks we can deliver your firewood in. A smaller truck capable of up to 1.5T, a medium truck capable of 2T and a large truck capable of 4T.
