Q: LPG vs natural gas — what’s the difference, and which is more efficient?

LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) is bottled propane/butane, while natural gas is mostly methane delivered by mains. Because LPG has a higher energy content per unit, you typically need less LPG than natural gas to produce the same heat—making LPG the more efficient choice for many applications (assuming the appliance is correctly jetted and regulated for LPG).

How does LPG Gas Delivery work?

Order your gas bottles through the General Store.  Order online, on the phone on (03) 5944 3310 or in store at 39-47 Beaconsfield-Emerald Road, Upper Beaconsfield, VIC.
Wait to receive a confirmation SMS message from our friendly delivery team which will advise when you can expect your delivery. Usually a Monday, Wednesday or Friday.
On the day of your delivery you will receive an SMS message confirming we are on our way.  Make sure your bottles are ready to swap over and any pets are secured and gates open.
